This is Sweden's 2009 home shirt by Umbro, featuring Zlatan Ibrahimović #10 and the official 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers sleeve patch. The shirt was worn during Sweden's qualification campaign for the 2010 World Cup, a period in which Zlatan was the undisputed face of Swedish football and captain of the national team.
Umbro opted for a clean and elegant interpretation of the classic Swedish colours. The shirt features a traditional fold-over collar with a blue insert at the neckline, giving it a refined and slightly retro appearance compared to the more technical designs that followed later.
Sweden entered the qualification campaign for the 2010 FIFA World Cup with high expectations. Led by Zlatan Ibrahimović, the team competed against Portugal, Denmark, Hungary, Malta and Albania in a challenging qualification group.
