The Umbro Manchester City 2012/13 Home Football Shirt 'GUIDETTI' is a notable piece of memorabilia, combining the classic design of Manchester City's home kit with the personalization of striker John Guidetti's name and number 60. This home shirt features a sky blue base with black trimmings, inspired by Manchester City's first-ever home kit from 1884 when the club was known as West Gorton.
In 2008, progressing through their youth ranks and making his first-team debut in the 2010/11 season. However, during the 2012/13 season, he faced significant challenges that impacted his playing time.
Guidetti spent most of the 2012/13 season recovering from a viral infection that led to an infected nerve, causing loss of feeling in his right leg. Despite his limited appearances, Manchester City recognized his potential, offering him a three-year contract extension in October 2012, securing his services until 2015.
