The 2005/06 home kit was made to celebrate Chelsea’s 100-year anniversary, so it carries that “Centenary” identity. The shirt is a deep, classic royal blue base with gold accent detailing — you’ll see gold on the shoulder panels, the sleeve cuffs, and subtle trims. The gold gives it a premium, celebratory feel rather than being merely decorative. The shirt cuts a modern silhouette for its time: fairly slim, athletic, and focused on letting the blue dominate while the gold provides contrast.
