The Tempo Cape Verde 2022 Home Football Shirt marked a significant transition for the national team, as it was the first kit produced by Tempo following the end of their partnership with Adidas. This jersey debuted during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021), which took place in early 2022 due to pandemic-related delays.

The 2022 home shirt features a deep navy blue base adorned with vertical stripes on the front. Two of these stripes are solid navy, while the other three incorporate a lighter shade with a subtle graphic pattern.
