Hernán Alejo Mattiuzzo is an Argentine professional footballer, born on January 28, 1986, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A versatile player who has been deployed both as a defensive midfielder and a center back, Mattiuzzo came through the youth ranks at San Lorenzo—one of Argentina’s traditional “big five” clubs—where he also made his professional debut.
Mattiuzzo progressed through San Lorenzo’s academy system. He debuted for San Lorenzo’s senior team in 2005. Although he never became a regular starter there, his adaptability in defensive positions earned him periodic first-team appearances.
After his time at San Lorenzo, Mattiuzzo played for several clubs in the Argentine leagues. Among those clubs were Aldosivi (in Mar del Plata) and Belgrano (in Córdoba). He also had stints with teams such as Sarmiento (Junín) and Nueva Chicago (Buenos Aires), competing in either the Argentine Primera División or the Primera B Nacional (second division).
Because Mattiuzzo spent most of his professional life in Argentina’s domestic leagues—rather than in high-profile European or South American competitions—detailed public information about his career can be somewhat limited. Nonetheless, he is recognized as one of the many solid, homegrown players contributing across Argentine football.
This is an official jersey match worn by Hernán Mattiuzzo.

Guidelines for Washing Football Shirts with Print
To ensure the longevity of your football shirt and protect its print, follow these washing and care instructions:
General Care
- Do not follow the care label inside the shirt, as it may not be suitable for preserving the print.
- Always turn the shirt inside out before washing to reduce friction and wear.
- Avoid fabric softeners, as they can degrade the print and affect fabric performance.
Washing Instructions
- Hand wash only – machine washing can cause damage.
- Use cold water (30°C or lower) to prevent weakening of adhesives and prints.
- Choose a mild detergent; avoid harsh chemicals that can cause fading or cracking.
- Gently agitate the fabric by hand – do not scrub or wring.
- Wash separately or with similar lightweight fabrics to avoid abrasion.
Drying Instructions
- Air dry only – avoid tumble drying, as heat can damage the print.
- Hang or lay flat to dry in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight.
- Do not wring the fabric to remove excess water, as this can distort the shirt and stress the print.
Ironing Instructions
- Always turn the shirt inside out before ironing.
- Use low heat (110°C or lower, typically the first or second setting on an iron) and place a protective cloth between the iron and the fabric.
- Do not use steam, as excess moisture can weaken adhesives.
