This is the Helsingborgs IF 2000/01 home shirt made by Puma. It features a bold red base, royal blue curved side and shoulder panels, silver trim around the collar, the HIF crest on the chest, Puma branding, and the large Nestlé sponsor across the front. The back is especially distinctive, with a large tonal embossed Helsingborgs crest running vertically through the centre, which gives the shirt a much more unique and premium look than a standard early-2000s Allsvenskan shirt.
The design feels unmistakably turn-of-the-millennium Puma. The strong red body is combined with sculpted blue inserts and metallic silver accents in a way that reflects the more expressive football shirt design language of the early 2000s. It keeps Helsingborgs IF’s identity clear, but presents it in a much more stylised and technical way than the simpler domestic shirts of the 1990s.
