This is the Arsenal 2016/17 third shirt made by Puma, shown here with Özil 11 on the back. It features a dark navy base with fluorescent yellow detailing, the Arsenal crest, Puma logo, and Fly Emirates as the front sponsor.
The design is defined by its dark navy body combined with bright fluorescent yellow sleeves, shoulder sections, sponsor, and crest outline. It also includes darker textured panels around the shoulders, adding extra detail without changing the overall clean look. Compared with Arsenal’s home and away shirts from the same period, this third shirt is more aggressive in its colour contrast and stands out clearly within the Puma-era kit range.
Arsenal used this third shirt during the 2016/17 season, when the club finished fifth in the Premier League and won the FA Cup under Arsène Wenger. Mesut Özil remained one of the team’s most important attacking players during that campaign, which makes the Özil 11 print especially relevant.
