The 2014/15 Arsenal away shirt features a vibrant yellow body with contrasting navy blue details, pulling from Arsenal’s classic yellow-and-blue away heritage. The collar is a crew neck in navy with thin trim (possibly red or a shade to nod to the home colours), and the sleeve cuffs mirror that with navy as well. The shirt is basically clean in layout, with subtle texture in the fabric rather than loud graphic-prints. It evokes nostalgia (for those classic ’80s-’90s yellow/blue combos) while still feeling modern thanks to the cut and colour contrasts.
This shirt was used during the 2014/15 Premier League season, which was Puma’s first season as Arsenal’s kit supplier (after Nike). Arsenal had just won the FA Cup in 2014, and there was optimism about a bright future.
