The 2002/04 home shirt marked the beginning of a new era for Manchester United kits under Nike, following Umbro’s long-standing tenure. The design was built around the club’s iconic red body, contrasted by black panels running down the sides and a simple black v-shaped collar with white trim. Although designed for the 2002/03 and 2003/04 seasons, this shirt is most famously linked with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo in August 2003 from Sporting Lisbon.
