The 2017/18 Barcelona home shirt by Nike introduced a bold reinterpretation of the traditional blaugrana stripes. Instead of uniform bands, the kit features fading vertical stripes—they continuously taper from deeper red at the center to thinner blue edges, creating a dynamic fade effect across the torso.
Sponsored by Rakuten, the logo in crisp white contrasts perfectly with the rich blue and red tones. In a subtle nod to Catalan identity, the Catalan flag (senyera) appears around the inside of the neckline.
