This is the Arsenal 2002/03 away shirt made by Nike, shown here with Vieira 4 on the back. It features a dark navy base, a striking tonal graphic pattern across the front, red trim on the collar and sleeve cuffs, the Arsenal crest, a red Nike Swoosh, and O2 as the front sponsor. The Vieira 4 print is one of the strongest player combinations you can have on an Arsenal shirt from this era, as Patrick Vieira was the captain and heartbeat of Wenger’s side.
The design feels very different from Arsenal’s more traditional yellow away shirts. Nike went for something much darker and more modern here, using a deep navy base with a subtle engineered front graphic that gives the shirt a sharp, futuristic look. The red trim adds just enough contrast to keep it connected to Arsenal’s core colours, while the clean front and oversized O2 sponsor make it instantly recognizable as an early-2000s Highbury-era shirt.
