This Napoli 2023/24 third shirt was made by EA7 and features Victor Osimhen’s #9 nameset together with the Serie A sleeve patch. Worn immediately after Napoli’s historic 2022/23 Scudetto triumph, the shirt prominently carries the tricolour champions shield on the chest — a particularly significant detail given that the previous season had delivered Napoli their first Italian league title since the Maradona era.
Napoli entered 2023/24 as defending Serie A champions, but the campaign proved far more difficult than their dominant title-winning season. Luciano Spalletti had departed during the summer and the club went through three head coaches — Rudi Garcia, Walter Mazzarri and Francesco Calzona — before finishing tenth in Serie A. In Europe, Napoli progressed from a Champions League group containing Real Madrid, Braga and Union Berlin before being eliminated by Barcelona in the Round of 16.
Osimhen nevertheless remained Napoli’s leading attacking figure. After scoring 26 league goals to win the Capocannoniere during the title-winning 2022/23 campaign, he followed it with 15 Serie A goals in 25 appearances in 2023/24. The season included a hat-trick against Sassuolo and ultimately became his final campaign playing regularly for Napoli before spending 2024/25 on loan at Galatasaray.
For collectors, the combination of Osimhen #9, the Serie A patch and the Scudetto on the chest gives this shirt a strong connection to Napoli’s championship era. The black, dark green and gold colourway is also a major departure from the club’s traditional sky blue, while the tattoo-inspired graphics make it one of the more unusual Napoli designs of recent years. With Osimhen representing one of the defining players of the 2022/23 title-winning side, it captures the season in which Napoli wore the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years.
