This is the Newcastle United 2007/09 home shirt made by adidas, shown here with Martins 9 on the back. It features the club’s traditional black-and-white vertical stripes, the Newcastle United crest centrally on the chest, the adidas logo, and Northern Rock as the front sponsor. This example also has Barclays Premier League sleeve patches.
The design keeps Newcastle’s classic home identity but uses a more refined late-2000s adidas template. The broad black-and-white stripes dominate the front, while the black fold-over collar with light blue trim gives the shirt one of its most recognizable details.
