This is the adidas Manchester United 2022/23 Home Football Shirt, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo #7. The shirt was introduced for Erik ten Hag’s first season in charge and was the final Manchester United home shirt worn by Ronaldo during his second spell at Old Trafford. Ronaldo featured for United during the opening months of the campaign before leaving the club by mutual agreement in November 2022.
The design takes a heritage-inspired approach to United’s traditional red home colours, with subtle tonal pinstripes running through the body and black adidas three-stripes across the shoulders. Its most distinctive feature is the white polo collar with red and black geometric detailing, drawing inspiration from Manchester United shirts of the early 1990s. The club crest is presented within a darker red shield, with the adidas logo and white TeamViewer sponsor completing the front.
This example features Ronaldo #7 in Premier League-style lettering and numbering, together with Premier League and No Room For Racism sleeve patches. Ronaldo made 10 Premier League appearances during the 2022/23 campaign, scoring once, before his departure. United went on to finish third in the Premier League and win the League Cup.
