This is the Japan 2008 away shirt made by adidas, shown here in the long-sleeve version with Nakamura 10 on the back. It features a white base, blue adidas three stripes down the sleeves, the Japan Football Association crest on the chest, and the number 10 on the front.
The design is defined by its clean white base and the structured central pinstripe-style panel running vertically down the front. The shoulders and collar use blue, red, and yellow detailing, which gives the shirt a more technical look than a plain white template. It also has shaped side panels and the small textured dot elements that were common on adidas international shirts from the late 2000s.
Japan used this away shirt in the 2008 period, and the Nakamura 10 print makes it especially relevant. Shunsuke Nakamura was one of the standout figures of the Japanese national team in that era, which gives the shirt strong recognition value.
