Chelsea FC's 2016/17 home football shirt, manufactured by adidas, features Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard #10 alongside official Premier League sleeve patches. The shirt comes from adidas' final season as Chelsea's kit manufacturer, ending an eleven-year partnership before Nike took over in 2017. It represents one of Hazard's most successful campaigns at Stamford Bridge, as he played a central role in Chelsea's return to the top of English football under Antonio Conte.
The 2016/17 season saw Chelsea claim their fifth Premier League title and sixth English top-flight championship under Antonio Conte. After switching to a 3-4-3 formation following a difficult start, Chelsea embarked on a remarkable 13-match winning streak and finished the campaign with 93 points and a then-record 30 league victories in a 38-game season. Hazard was instrumental in the title triumph, scoring 16 Premier League goals in 36 appearances and earning a place in the PFA Team of the Year. Chelsea also reached the FA Cup final, where they were defeated 2–1 by Arsenal. The campaign marked Hazard's second Premier League title with Chelsea and remains one of the defining seasons of his career.
