This is the AC Milan 1998/99 home shirt made by adidas, shown here with Maldini 3 on the back. It features Milan’s classic red and black vertical stripes, the adidas logo, the AC Milan crest with gold star, and Opel as the front sponsor. The Maldini 3 print is fully correct for the season, as Paolo Maldini was the club captain and the central figure of the side during this period.
The design is a strong example of late-1990s adidas styling. It keeps Milan’s traditional striped identity intact, but adds a more technical feel through the black fold-over collar, the three stripes down the shoulders and sleeves, and the slightly glossy finish in the fabric.
