This Real Madrid 2014/15 away shirt was made by adidas and features Cristiano Ronaldo’s #7 nameset together with the LFP sleeve patch and FIFA World Champions badge. The vivid pink design represented a major departure from Real Madrid’s traditional colours and was the first predominantly pink outfield shirt in the club’s history, paired with white adidas detailing, a tonal club crest and the Fly Emirates sponsor.
The shirt followed Real Madrid’s historic "La Décima" triumph in 2013/14, with the subtle star-inspired pattern incorporated into the design as a reference to the club’s successes in the Champions League and Copa del Rey. The 2014/15 squad remained packed with some of the era’s defining players, including Sergio Ramos, Luka Modrić, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, while Toni Kroos and James Rodríguez joined Carlo Ancelotti’s side during the summer.
For Ronaldo, 2014/15 was statistically extraordinary. He scored a career-best 61 goals across all competitions for Real Madrid, including 48 in La Liga, and claimed his third Ballon d’Or during the campaign. Despite Ronaldo’s individual numbers, Madrid narrowly missed out on the league title and were eliminated by Juventus in the Champions League semi-finals.
This example also carries the gold FIFA World Champions badge, awarded following Real Madrid’s victory at the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup, adding another distinctive element to the shirt. Combined with Ronaldo #7, the LFP sleeve patch and one of the most unconventional colourways in Real Madrid history, it represents a particularly recognisable shirt from Ronaldo’s peak years at the Bernabéu.
