Adidas - Manchester United 2019/20 Hemmatröja 'NAME'

This Manchester United 2019/20 home shirt was manufactured by adidas and features Bruno Fernandes' #18 Premier League nameset. The shirt was worn during a significant season for the club, which saw the arrival of the Portuguese midfielder in January 2020 and the beginning of his influential career at Old Trafford.

The reverse features B.FERNANDES #18 in white Premier League lettering and numbering with black outlines. The shirt also includes the Kohler sleeve sponsor, which became part of Manchester United's shirt design in 2018. Fernandes joined United from Sporting CP in January 2020 and quickly established himself as one of the team's most important players, bringing creativity, goals and leadership to Ole Gunnar Solskjær's midfield.

Fernandes made an immediate impact following his arrival, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 14 Premier League appearances during the second half of the campaign. His performances helped transform United's attacking play, with the Portuguese midfielder developing an effective partnership with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood. He was also named Premier League Player of the Month for February and June 2020, underlining his remarkable introduction to English football.

Under Solskjær, Manchester United finished third in the 2019/20 Premier League with 66 points, securing qualification for the following season's UEFA Champions League. The team also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League. The campaign was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, with football resuming behind closed doors in June. United remained unbeaten in their final nine league matches following the restart, with Fernandes playing a central role in their strong finish.

The 2019/20 season represented an important turning point in Manchester United's rebuilding process. While the campaign began inconsistently, Fernandes' arrival brought renewed confidence and attacking quality to the side. His performances quickly established him as a fan favourite and one of the Premier League's standout midfielders.

For collectors, this shirt represents Bruno Fernandes' first season at Manchester United and the beginning of his association with the club's iconic number 18. The treble-inspired design, black club crest and Premier League B.FERNANDES nameset make it a distinctive piece from an important chapter in United's modern history.
