Adidas - Arsenal FC 2019/20 Home Football Shirt 'SAKA'

This Arsenal 2019/20 home shirt was made by adidas and features Bukayo Saka’s #77 nameset together with Premier League and No Room For Racism sleeve detailing. The season was Saka’s breakthrough campaign, as the 18-year-old established himself in Arsenal’s first team and emerged as one of the most exciting players from the club’s academy. 

The 2019/20 campaign was a transitional one for Arsenal. Unai Emery departed during the season before former captain Mikel Arteta took charge in December 2019. Arsenal finished eighth in the Premier League, but the season ended with silverware as they defeated Manchester City 2–0 in the FA Cup semi-final before beating Chelsea 2–1 at Wembley to secure a record-extending 14th FA Cup title.

Saka was one of the major discoveries of the campaign. Still wearing #77, the number he had carried into the senior side from Arsenal’s academy, he made 38 first-team appearances across all competitions and scored four goals. His versatility was particularly notable: he featured at left-back, left wing and further forward as he became increasingly important to the first team. The following season he inherited Arsenal’s #7 shirt, making #77 particularly associated with the earliest stage of his breakthrough.
