This is the Rangers 2005/06 Home Shirt by Umbro, featuring Dado Pršo #9. Worn during Paul Le Guen's predecessor Alex McLeish's final season at the club, the shirt represents a transitional period in Rangers' history, coming immediately after the dramatic 2004/05 title-winning campaign and during a memorable return to the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Produced by Umbro, the shirt retains Rangers' iconic royal blue colour while introducing a more streamlined design than its predecessor. Subtle tonal striping runs through the fabric, complemented by white piping that contours the body and red detailing on the sleeve cuffs and hem. The embroidered Umbro logo and the famous five-star Rangers crest, symbolising the club's 50 league championships at the time, complete a clean and unmistakably mid-2000s look.

The 2005/06 season saw Rangers endure a difficult domestic campaign, finishing third in the Scottish Premier League. However, the club enjoyed one of its most historic European achievements by becoming the first Scottish club ever to reach the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League, progressing from a group containing Inter Milan, Porto and Artmedia Bratislava before being eliminated by Villarreal on away goals.
