This IF Elfsborg away shirt was made by Umbro and features the club’s traditional red away colours, complemented by white detailing around the collar and sleeves. The design incorporates a subtle repeating pattern throughout the fabric, Umbro’s distinctive diamond branding along the sleeves and a white version of the club’s historic crest. The front features Sparbanken Sjuhärad as the main sponsor, alongside additional detailing from local partners including RO-Gruppen and Elfsborg’s long-standing sponsor Ellos.
The shirt also carries several distinctive details on the reverse, including the slogan “Tillsammans Utmanare Stolthet”, the Pulsen branding and a small lion emblem beneath the collar. Together, these elements connect the design to the club’s identity and its roots in Borås.
The 2024 campaign was a significant period for Elfsborg, coming immediately after the club had narrowly missed out on the 2023 Allsvenskan title. Following Jimmy Thelin’s departure, former Elfsborg player Oscar Hiljemark took charge during the season. Although the team eventually finished seventh domestically, its European campaign proved considerably more memorable.
Elfsborg qualified for the UEFA Europa League league phase, where they faced clubs including Roma, Galatasaray, Athletic Club and Tottenham Hotspur. Their 1–0 victory over Roma at Borås Arena, secured through a Michael Baidoo penalty, became one of the standout results in the club’s recent European history. Further home victories against Qarabağ and Nice highlighted a campaign that brought Elfsborg considerable attention beyond Swedish football.
