This Manchester United 2013/14 home shirt was manufactured by Nike and features Ryan Giggs' iconic #11 Premier League nameset. The shirt was worn during a historic transitional season for Manchester United, marking the club's first campaign without Sir Alex Ferguson as manager in over 26 years and the final season of Giggs' extraordinary playing career at Old Trafford.

The reverse features GIGGS #11 in white Premier League lettering and numbering with black outlines, alongside a small black devil emblem beneath the collar. Both sleeves feature the gold Barclays Premier League champions patches, commemorating Manchester United's 2012/13 league title, their 20th English top-flight championship and the final trophy of Ferguson's managerial career.

The 2013/14 campaign began with David Moyes succeeding Ferguson as Manchester United manager. Despite entering the season as defending Premier League champions, United struggled to maintain their previous dominance and eventually finished seventh with 64 points, missing out on European qualification for the following season. Moyes departed in April 2014, with Giggs appointed interim player-manager for the final four league matches.
For Giggs, the season represented the conclusion of one of English football's most remarkable playing careers. Having made his Manchester United debut in March 1991, the Welsh winger spent his entire senior club career at Old Trafford, winning 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and two UEFA Champions League trophies. His longevity, technical ability and consistency established him as one of the defining players of the Premier League era.

Giggs made his 963rd and final competitive appearance for Manchester United against Hull City on 6 May 2014, coming on as a substitute while serving as interim manager. He announced his retirement later that month, bringing an end to a 23-year first-team career in which he became the club's all-time record appearance holder.
