Nike - Leeds United 2000/02 Hjemmebanetrøje 'NAME'

This is the Leeds United 2000/02 home shirt made by Nike, shown here with Viduka 9 on the back. It features the club’s traditional white base, a blue Nike Swoosh, the Leeds United crest, and Strongbow as the front sponsor. The Viduka 9 print is fully correct for the era, as Mark Viduka wore number 9 and was one of Leeds’ key players throughout this period.

The design is very typical of early-2000s Nike shirts. It keeps Leeds’ identity clean and traditional, but adds a more technical look through the blue-and-yellow trim on the V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs, along with mesh-style shoulder and side panels. Compared with many 1990s Leeds shirts, this one feels more streamlined and performance-led, while still staying true to the club’s classic all-white look. The curved Strongbow sponsor is also one of the defining visual details of this era.

Leeds used this home shirt across the 2000/01 and 2001/02 seasons, a period strongly associated with one of the club’s most competitive modern sides. It is linked with players such as Mark Viduka, Alan Smith, Harry Kewell, Rio Ferdinand, Lee Bowyer, Olivier Dacourt, Robbie Keane, and Paul Robinson. That makes the Viduka 9 print especially desirable, because he was one of the team’s most important and recognizable attacking players.
