This Barcelona 2023/24 away shirt was made by Nike and features Lamine Yamal’s #27 nameset together with UEFA Champions League sleeve detailing and the UEFA Foundation for Children patch. The season was Yamal’s true breakthrough into Barcelona’s first team, with the La Masia graduate becoming a regular at just 16 years old and establishing himself as one of the most exciting young players in world football.
The design is particularly distinctive for Barcelona, replacing the traditional blaugrana colours with a predominantly white base inspired by shirts worn by the club during the 1970s. Blue and red detailing appears around the sleeve cuffs, while the Nike Swoosh and Spotify sponsor are presented in blue. The Senyera detail beneath the back collar and blue Lamine Yamal #27 nameset complete a clean design that stands apart from most modern Barcelona away shirts.
The 2023/24 campaign was Barcelona’s final season under Xavi Hernández. The club finished second in La Liga and returned to the Champions League knockout stages after two consecutive group-stage exits, progressing past Napoli before eventually being eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.
Yamal’s rise was one of the defining stories of the season. Wearing #27, he made 50 appearances and scored seven goals across all competitions while breaking a remarkable series of age records.
