This Barcelona 2016/17 home shirt was made by Nike and features Lionel Messi’s iconic #10 nameset together with La Liga sleeve detailing, the Beko sleeve sponsor and the gold FIFA World Champions 2015 badge on the chest. The shirt comes from Luis Enrique’s final season as Barcelona manager and a campaign in which Messi once again produced extraordinary individual numbers.

Barcelona finished second in La Liga but ended the campaign with both the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup. Their Champions League run is remembered above all for the extraordinary comeback against Paris Saint-Germain. After losing 4–0 in Paris, Barcelona won the return leg 6–1 at Camp Nou, becoming the first side in Champions League history to overturn a four-goal first-leg deficit.

Messi was exceptional throughout the season, scoring 54 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions. His 37 La Liga goals earned him both the Pichichi Trophy and his fourth European Golden Shoe. One of the defining moments came in El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Messi scored twice against Real Madrid, including the stoppage-time winner in a 3–2 victory. That brace also took him beyond 500 competitive goals for Barcelona.
