This Croatia 2010 home football shirt was manufactured by Nike and features Luka Modrić's #10 nameset. The shirt represents an important period in Modrić's international career, as he established himself as one of Croatia's most influential midfielders.
By 2010, Modrić was playing for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, where his technical ability, vision and control in midfield had made him a key player. Already an established Croatian international following his performances at UEFA Euro 2008, Modrić continued to play a central role in the national team's midfield.
Croatia narrowly missed qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, finishing third in their qualifying group behind England and Ukraine. Under manager Slaven Bilić, the team entered a period of transition, with Modrić emerging as a central figure in the country's next generation.
Featuring Croatia's instantly recognisable checkerboard design and Modrić's #10 nameset, this shirt captures an early chapter in the career of a player who would become one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.
