This is the Italy 2002 home shirt made by Kappa, shown here with Totti 10 on the back. It features Italy’s traditional azzurro blue base, the Italia crest on the chest, Kappa logos on the sleeves, and the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan patch. The Totti 10 print is fully era-correct, as Francesco Totti wore number 10 and was one of the key attacking players in Italy’s squad at that tournament.
The design is one of the boldest and most distinctive international shirts of the early 2000s. Instead of using a more traditional collar and panel layout, Kappa gave this shirt a very stripped-back, athletic look with a tight crew-neck shape, visible contrast seam construction, and a minimal front dominated by the large white number. Compared with older Italy shirts, this one feels much more technical and modern, with a silhouette that was designed to look close to the body and emphasize performance. That makes it instantly recognizable as part of Kappa’s early-2000s design language.
Italy wore this home shirt during the 2002 World Cup, where the squad included players such as Francesco Totti, Alessandro Del Piero, Christian Vieri, Paolo Maldini, Gianluigi Buffon, Gennaro Gattuso, and Filippo Inzaghi. Totti was one of the faces of the team and one of the biggest stars in world football at the time, which makes the Totti 10print especially desirable.
