This England 2010 home shirt was made by Umbro and features David Beckham’s iconic #7 nameset. Worn during the build-up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the design marked a return to a remarkably clean and traditional England aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the simplicity of classic national team shirts.
The shirt features a predominantly white design with a polo-style collar, red Umbro branding and the famous Three Lions crest on the chest. A single star above the crest commemorates England’s 1966 World Cup triumph. This example is completed with Beckham #7 on the back, matching #7 to the front and a 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers sleeve patch.
The shirt belongs to the final chapter of David Beckham’s England career. Beckham played throughout the qualification period for South Africa 2010 and earned his 115th and final England cap against Belarus in October 2009.
