This is the Newcastle United 2023/24 Away Shirt, featuring Bruno Guimarães #39 and European competition detailing. Manufactured by Castore, the shirt features a deep green base with a distinctive tonal geometric pattern, complemented by black branding and black-and-white striped trim around the collar and cuffs. The Newcastle crest is presented in a monochrome finish, while Sela appears as the main shirt sponsor.
The shirt comes from one of Newcastle’s most significant modern seasons, as the club returned to the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 20 years. This example features the Champions League starball patch together with the Foundation for Children patch on the sleeves, as well as Bruno Guimarães’ #39 nameset. Newcastle were drawn into a memorable group alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.
Guimarães was one of the central figures in Eddie Howe’s Newcastle side during this period. The Brazilian midfielder had established himself as a fan favourite following his arrival from Lyon in January 2022, with his distinctive #39 becoming closely associated with his time at St James’ Park.
