Liverpool’s 2012/13 away shirt, manufactured by Warrior Sports, introduced a bold new visual direction. Featuring a black base with a subtle charcoal grey diamond pattern across the chest and vivid red trim on the collar and cuffs, the design was a clear break from tradition—and one of the most polarising kits in the Premier League that season. The shirt was Warrior’s first away release after taking over from Adidas, setting the tone for a more experimental design era at Anfield.
Liverpool’s 2012/13 campaign was marked by change. Under new manager Brendan Rodgers, the team began shifting towards a new playing philosophy, with Steven Gerrard remaining a constant presence in midfield.
