Tottenham Hotspur's 2006/07 home football shirt, manufactured by Puma, features English defender and club captain Ledley King #26. Released during Martin Jol's tenure as manager, the shirt represents a period when Tottenham were establishing themselves as regular contenders for European qualification. King was a central figure in the squad, admired for his exceptional defensive intelligence, composure and leadership, despite recurring injury problems throughout his career.

The shirt features Tottenham's traditional white colourway, complemented by navy blue detailing and subtle gold accents. A clean crew-neck collar and navy sleeve trim create a classic appearance, while the black Puma logo and Tottenham Hotspur crest sit on opposite sides of the chest. The distinctive red and white Mansion sponsor, framed in gold, dominates the centre of the shirt. On the back, King's name and number 26 appear in navy with gold outlines, while the curved navy shoulder panels add a distinctive touch. UEFA Cup sleeve patches complete the shirt's European competition appearance.

The 2006/07 season saw Tottenham finish fifth in the Premier League for the second consecutive year, securing another campaign of European football. Under Martin Jol, Spurs also reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup, where they were eliminated by eventual winners Sevilla. The club additionally progressed to the semi-finals of the League Cup and quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Although King's season was disrupted by injuries, he remained Tottenham's captain and one of the club's most respected players. His loyalty and performances throughout his career would eventually establish him as one of Tottenham's most celebrated modern defenders.
