This is the Manchester City 2021/22 Home Shirt, worn by Kevin De Bruyne #17 during one of the most dramatic Premier League title-winning campaigns in the club's history. As the creative force behind Pep Guardiola's side, the Belgian midfielder delivered another world-class season, helping Manchester City edge Liverpool to the title on the final day. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, De Bruyne once again demonstrated why he has become the defining player of Manchester City's modern era.
Manufactured by PUMA, the 2021/22 home shirt reintroduced the classic V-neck collar, inspired by several iconic Manchester City kits from the past. The traditional sky-blue base is complemented by crisp white side panels and sleeve inserts, while a subtle tonal all-over pattern adds texture to the clean design. Finished with the Etihad Airways front sponsor, Nexen Tire sleeve sponsor and PUMA's lightweight dryCELL performance technology, the shirt perfectly combines timeless aesthetics with modern performance.
The 2021/22 season produced one of the greatest title races in Premier League history. Manchester City secured the championship after an unforgettable final-day comeback against Aston Villa, recovering from 2–0 down to win 3–2 and finish one point ahead of Liverpool. De Bruyne was instrumental throughout the campaign, scoring 19 goals in all competitions, including a stunning four-goal performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Alongside Bernardo Silva, Rodri, João Cancelo and Phil Foden, he helped City claim their fourth Premier League title in five seasons under Guardiola.
For collectors, Kevin De Bruyne's #17 has become one of the Premier League's most iconic modern namesets. As arguably Manchester City's greatest-ever midfielder, shirts bearing his name are highly sought after by supporters around the world. Combined with PUMA's elegant V-neck design, the 2021/22 home shirt represents one of the defining kits of City's golden era under Pep Guardiola.
