This is the Manchester City 2020/21 Home Shirt, featuring John Stones #5 during one of the strongest seasons of his career. After struggling for regular football in the previous campaign, the England defender re-established himself as a key figure under Pep Guardiola, forming an outstanding central defensive partnership with Rúben Dias. The pair became central to City's title-winning defence, starting 19 Premier League matches together and keeping 13 clean sheets as Manchester City reclaimed the league title.
Manufactured by PUMA, the 2020/21 home shirt features Manchester City's traditional sky-blue base covered by a distinctive white mosaic pattern. The design was inspired by the mosaics found throughout Manchester's Northern Quarter and also references the club's own history with mosaic artwork dating back to Maine Road. Navy PUMA branding and the Etihad Airways sponsor contrast against the sky blue, while a white crew-neck collar completes one of PUMA's most recognisable City designs.
The 2020/21 season became another major chapter in Manchester City's Guardiola era. City won the Premier League for the third time in four seasons, lifted the League Cup and reached the UEFA Champions League final for the first time in the club's history. Stones' resurgence was an important part of that success, with his partnership alongside Dias providing the defensive foundation behind a team featuring Kevin De Bruyne, İlkay Gündoğan, Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva.
For collectors, Stones #5 represents a particularly significant period in his Manchester City career. The combination of his comeback season, City's Premier League title and the instantly recognisable mosaic design makes the 2020/21 home shirt a memorable piece from one of the club's most successful modern campaigns.
