This is Italy’s 2012 away shirt by Puma, worn during UEFA Euro 2012, a tournament that saw the Azzurri exceed expectations and reach the final under Cesare Prandelli. The shirt is instantly recognizable thanks to its clean white base and bold horizontal blue chest band, a modern interpretation of Italy’s traditional away colours.
The Balotelli #9 nameset makes this one of the most sought-after shirts from the tournament. Euro 2012 was the competition that transformed Mario Balotelli into a global football icon. His two goals against Germany in the semi-final, followed by the unforgettable celebration with arms outstretched in Warsaw, became one of the defining images of the entire tournament.
For collectors, this is one of the standout international shirts of the 2010s. The combination of a clean away design, Euro 2012 tournament patches and Balotelli’s legendary performances makes it a piece that captures one of the most memorable individual stories in modern international football.
