The 2015/16 Borussia Dortmund home shirt stands out as one of Puma’s most daring designs for the club. The base is Dortmund’s iconic yellow, but the shirt is defined by bold black horizontal hoops across the front, fading out toward the hem in a gradient style. The sleeves and shoulders remain solid yellow, while the round collar features a black trim insert. The back panel is mostly plain yellow to ensure clarity for player names and numbers. This mix of modern hooping and gradient effects made it one of the most unique BVB home shirts of the 2010s.
The 2015/16 season marked Thomas Tuchel’s first year in charge at Borussia Dortmund. The club finished 2nd in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich, playing a more fluid, attacking brand of football.
