This Paris Saint-Germain shirt was produced by Nike featuring the classic Nike Swoosh opposite PSG’s crest and sponsored by Fly Emirates. The shirt is finished with Ligue 1 detailing, reflecting PSG’s status in French football before the modern ownership era reshaped the club’s identity.
The 2009/10 home design is built around a deep navy base, accented by thin vertical red pinstripes that run cleanly through the shirt. Red detailing at the collar and sleeve cuffs adds contrast while staying true to PSG’s traditional colour palette. The look is understated and elegant, very much in line with late-2000s Nike football aesthetics.
The 2009/10 season marked Claude Makélélé’s final year with Paris Saint-Germain, bringing his elite experience and leadership to a transitional PSG side. Wearing the number 4, Makélélé embodied control and discipline in midfield, making this shirt a meaningful piece from the club’s pre-superstar era — a reminder of PSG before the global spotlight fully arrived.
