France's 2020 home football shirt, manufactured by Nike, features French superstar Kylian Mbappé #10. This player version shirt represents France's UEFA Euro 2020 campaign, played in the summer of 2021, when Les Bleus entered the tournament as reigning World Cup champions.
The design features a deep navy blue base with horizontal royal blue stripes, inspired by France's iconic 1998 World Cup-winning shirt. A bold red stripe runs across the chest, accompanied by a white Nike Swoosh and the French Football Federation crest with two stars representing the nation's World Cup victories in 1998 and 2018. The back features MBAPPÉ #10 in official white lettering, while the lightweight Nike VaporKnit construction provides a performance-focused fit. The shirt also features UEFA Euro 2020 tournament patches.
France entered Euro 2020 as one of the tournament favourites, with a star-studded squad featuring Mbappé, Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and N'Golo Kanté. Despite finishing top of a challenging group containing Germany, Portugal and Hungary, France were eliminated by Switzerland in the Round of 16 following a dramatic 3–3 draw and penalty shootout. Mbappé missed the decisive penalty, bringing France's campaign to an unexpected end.
