This Barcelona 2017/18 home shirt was made by Nike and features Lionel Messi’s iconic #10 nameset. The campaign was the beginning of a new era at Barcelona, with Ernesto Valverde replacing Luis Enrique and Neymar departing for Paris Saint-Germain, leaving Messi as an even more central figure in a side that went on to dominate Spanish football.
Barcelona enjoyed an outstanding domestic campaign, winning both La Liga and the Copa del Rey. Valverde’s side lost only once in the entire league season, finishing with 93 points and securing the title with four matches remaining. They completed the domestic double by dismantling Sevilla 5–0 in the Copa del Rey final, while their Champions League campaign ended dramatically against Roma in the quarter-finals.
Messi was once again the defining player. He scored 34 goals in 36 La Liga appearances, finishing as the league’s leading scorer and winning his fifth European Golden Shoe.
