The FC Barcelona 2007/08 Away Shirt is one of the most visually distinctive kits of the late 2000s. Manufactured by Nike and sponsored by UNICEF, this design marked a significant cultural shift — both stylistically and symbolically — during a transitional period at Camp Nou.
The shirt features a bold turquoise base with subtle vertical tonal striping woven into the fabric. Neon yellow detailing appears on the Nike swoosh, sleeve trim and sponsor print, creating a sharp modern contrast. The Barcelona crest includes the special “Camp Nou 1957–2007” anniversary detail, commemorating 50 years of the iconic stadium. The UNICEF sponsor, worn without commercial profit, reinforced the club’s “Més que un club” identity and became one of the most recognisable front-of-shirt partnerships of the era. The lightweight NikeFit construction reflects late-2000s performance tailoring, combining clean lines with breathable paneling.
On the back, “RONALDINHO 10” represents the final chapter of one of Barcelona’s most transformative players. During the 2007/08 season, Ronaldinho remained the creative symbol of the club, even as a new generation began to emerge. His influence throughout the mid-2000s had redefined Barcelona’s global image, restoring attacking flair, joy and artistic football to the forefront of European competition. The number 10 shirt became synonymous with expressive brilliance and the revival of the club’s modern identity.
This away kit captures a pivotal moment between eras — the closing phase of Ronaldinho’s time in Barcelona and the foundation of what would soon become one of the greatest club sides in football history. Bold, culturally significant and instantly recognisable, it stands as a key collector’s piece from the late-2000s Nike period.
