This is the Arsenal FC 2016/17 Away shirt manufactured by Puma, featuring the Fly Emirates front sponsor during a period when the brand’s bold, modern templates defined the club’s visual identity. The Puma cat logos sit on the chest and sleeves, while the Arsenal crest is stitched in full color over the heart. The shirt also carries Premier League sleeve patches and player printing for Mesut Özil #11, placing it firmly in the mid-2010s Emirates era.
The 2016/17 away design stands out with its rich “Dark Mustard” yellow base contrasted by black raglan sleeves and shoulder panels. Subtle vertical pinstripes run through the body, adding depth without overpowering the look. The fold-over black collar with yellow trim gives the shirt a slightly retro football feel, while the black cuffs with fine striping tie the whole palette together. It’s a confident, high-contrast Arsenal away look that feels both modern and distinctly different from the traditional red-and-white home identity.
The 2016/17 season was Arsène Wenger’s penultimate campaign in charge, a transitional year that still delivered silverware with an FA Cup triumph. Mesut Özil remained one of the team’s creative focal points, orchestrating play from midfield and contributing key goals and assists. This away shirt became closely associated with Arsenal’s road performances in domestic and European competitions, representing the final phase of the long Wenger era before major squad and managerial changes followed.
