This is the Arsenal 2004/05 home shirt made by Nike, shown here with Henry 14 on the back. It features Arsenal’s classic red body with white sleeves, the club crest, a white Nike Swoosh, and O2 as the front sponsor. The shirt also carries a UEFA Champions League patch, and the Henry 14 print is fully correct for the period, as Thierry Henry was the team’s talisman and one of the most feared forwards in world football.
The design is one of the most recognizable Arsenal shirts of the early 2000s. It keeps the club’s traditional red-and-white identity, but gives it a more modern and technical feel through the curved yellow piping, the panel-heavy construction, and the distinctive shape that wraps around the front and back of the shirt. The central red field, white sleeves, and large O2 sponsor make it instantly identifiable with Arsenal’s Highbury era, while the yellow trim adds a subtle extra layer that sets it apart from earlier, more minimal home shirts.
Arsenal wore this home shirt during the 2004/05 season, directly after the famous Invincibles campaign. The squad still featured many of the defining names of the Arsène Wenger era, including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pirès, Dennis Bergkamp, Freddie Ljungberg, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, and Gilberto Silva.
