This is the Liverpool 2018/19 third shirt made by New Balance, shown here in the long-sleeve version with M. Salah 11 on the back. It features a light grey base, darker contrasting sleeves, red New Balance branding, the L.F.C. crest, and Standard Chartered as the front sponsor.
The design feels modern, sharp, and slightly understated compared with Liverpool’s more traditional red kits. The geometric tonal pattern across the body gives the shirt a technical look without making it feel too busy, while the darker sleeves frame the front nicely and create a strong contrast. The red detailing in the logos, sponsor, and trim adds just enough energy and ties the whole shirt back to Liverpool’s identity. It is one of those late-New Balance Liverpool shirts that feels both contemporary and very wearable.
This shirt is tied to the 2018/19 season, one of the defining campaigns of Liverpool’s modern era. Jürgen Klopp’s side included Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson, Fabinho, Alisson, and Jordan Henderson, and the team went on to win the UEFA Champions League. That makes the Salah 11 print especially desirable, because he was one of the team’s biggest stars and one of the most iconic players in world football at the time.
