This is the Liverpool 2017/18 third shirt made by New Balance, shown here in the long-sleeve version with M. Salah 11 on the back. It features a bright orange base with black detailing, the LFC crest with the 125 Years marking, the New Balance logo, and Standard Chartered as the front sponsor.
The design is very clean and is defined mainly by its bold colour choice rather than by heavy graphic elements. The shirt uses a bright orange base with black trim on the collar, sponsor, crest, and player printing. That gives it a strong contrast and makes it stand apart clearly from Liverpool’s red home shirt and white away shirt from the same season. The 125 Years crest detail is especially important, as it ties the shirt directly to Liverpool’s anniversary season.
Liverpool used this third shirt during the 2017/18 season, when Jürgen Klopp’s side reached the UEFA Champions League final. It is especially associated with the start of Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool career, as he had an outstanding debut season and quickly became the team’s main attacking figure. Because of that, a M. Salah 11 version from this campaign has strong collector appeal.
