This TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 2016/17 third shirt is made by Lotto, featuring the classic Lotto diamond logo on the chest. The front sponsor is SAP, one of the most iconic Bundesliga sponsor marks of the 2010s — clean, bold, and instantly recognisable.
Hoffenheim’s third look for 2016/17 leans into a striking deep red base with dark burgundy raglan sleeves, creating strong contrast and a sharp silhouette. The kit is elevated by bright yellow details, including the inner collar accent and the hem trim. The shirt also features a subtle diagonal panel design across the front, giving it movement and structure without becoming too busy.
The 2016/17 season was a landmark year for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, as the club enjoyed one of the strongest campaigns in their modern Bundesliga history. Under Julian Nagelsmann, Hoffenheim played an exciting high-tempo style and pushed into the European conversation — making this kit instantly tied to one of the club’s most iconic modern eras.
The shirt is matchworn by Jiloan Hamad, the Swedish-Iraqi winger who joined Hoffenheim and became one of the few Swedish players to feature for the club in the Bundesliga.
