The 2022/23 home shirt showcases Hoffenheim’s traditional royal blue primary color, set off by fine white and ice-blue wavy lines across the front. These abstract lines evoke the undulating hills of the Kraichgau region—with a visual nod to the club’s roots in southwest Germany. The back of the jersey remains clean and solid blue, ensuring the design focus stays on the front. White ribbed trims around the crew neck and sleeve cuffs add crisp contrast to the overall look.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim debuted this kit during a season of transition as they finished 12th in the Bundesliga under the management changes from André Breitenreiter to Pellegrino Matarazzo. The shirt—worn by players like Ihlas Bebou—represented a blend of regional pride and the team's evolving identity during the campaign.
