This is the GAIS 2014 home shirt made by Hummel. It features the club’s classic green-and-black vertical stripes, the GAIS crest on the chest, white Hummel branding centrally below the collar, Hummel’s signature chevrons on the shoulders, and a heavy set of sponsors including Åbro, Ehrenborg, SKAB, Intersport, and BDO on the back. It is a shirt that feels completely rooted in Swedish league football and in GAIS’ visual identity.
The design is unmistakably GAIS. The green-and-black stripes give it its core character, while the Hummel chevrons and dense sponsor layout place it very clearly in the mid-2010s Scandinavian football landscape. Compared with older GAIS shirts, this one feels more commercial and busier across the chest, but it still keeps the club identity intact because the stripe pattern remains so dominant. The contrast between the traditional stripe base and the large sponsor blocks gives it that very real, match-day Allsvenskan or Superettan feel that many collectors appreciate in Swedish club shirts.
This shirt is most closely associated with GAIS in 2014, a period when the club continued to wear one of the most recognisable identities in Swedish football. For collectors of Swedish football, Göteborg clubs, or modern striped home shirts, it is a strong example of a club shirt that remains highly distinctive despite the heavier commercial layout.
