The 2012/13 Sunderland home shirt was manufactured by Adidas, featuring the classic adidas logo on the chest alongside Sunderland’s historic club crest. The shirt is sponsored by Invest in Africa, a distinctive and short-lived front sponsor that makes this kit especially recognisable. Premier League sleeve patches complete the authentic match-day look.
Staying true to Sunderland tradition, the shirt features bold red-and-white vertical stripes, complemented by red sleeves and white adidas shoulder stripes. The clean, traditional layout is paired with modern tailoring, giving the kit a sharp but timeless appearance. The black Larsson #7 name set on the back provides strong contrast and adds clear player identity.
The 2012/13 season saw Sunderland competing in the Premier League, with this home shirt worn throughout domestic fixtures at the Stadium of Light.
