This is Spain’s 2004 home shirt by adidas, featuring Xavi #20. The rich red base is paired with yellow adidas branding, shoulder stripes and nameset, creating a timeless look that reflects Spain’s traditional colours. The streamlined design and lightweight construction made it one of adidas’ standout international kits of the early 2000s.
The shirt was worn during UEFA Euro 2004 in Portugal, where Spain entered the tournament with a talented squad featuring Xavi, Raúl, Fernando Torres, Carles Puyol and Iker Casillas. Although Spain were eliminated in the group stage, the tournament marked the emergence of a new generation that would go on to dominate world football. Xavi, still in the early stages of his international career, was already demonstrating the vision, composure and passing ability that would make him one of the greatest midfielders of all time.
For collectors, this is an important piece from before Spain’s golden era. Featuring Xavi #20, it represents the foundation of the legendary team that would later win Euro 2008, the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012, making it a highly desirable shirt for collectors of Spanish football and international tournament memorabilia.
