This is the adidas Manchester United 2015/16 Home Shirt, featuring the Chevrolet front sponsor during the early years of that partnership. The adidas logo sits opposite the Manchester United crest, with the classic three stripes running over the shoulders. This shirt also carries UEFA Europa League patches on the sleeves, marking United’s European campaign that season. The Rashford 39 printing reflects Marcus Rashford’s breakthrough squad number when he burst onto the scene.
The design is a modern take on a traditional United home look. The base is classic United red, paired with a clean white V-neck collar that includes a thin black trim for contrast. The sleeve cuffs follow the same white-and-black detailing, giving the shirt a sharp, structured finish. It’s a simple, heritage-driven design that lets the club colours and crest do the talking, while still feeling contemporary thanks to the streamlined adidas template.
The 2015/16 season was Louis van Gaal’s second and final year in charge. While league form was inconsistent, the campaign is forever remembered for Marcus Rashford’s incredible emergence from the academy, scoring twice on his first-team debut in Europe and quickly becoming a fan favourite. This shirt, with Europa League badges and Rashford’s early squad number, captures the exact moment a new United star was born.
